Morocco: Price explosion in cafes and restaurants is outrageous

Holidaymakers in northern Moroccan cities have expressed their discontent in recent days over the exaggerated price increases in cafes and restaurants.

These tourists do not hesitate to publish on social networks photos of consumption bills in various cafes and restaurants to denounce the increase in prices. On one of the bills from a cafe, the price of Sfanj (donut) is 15 dirhams, while breakfast costs more than 75 dirhams. The tagines, meanwhile, are worth more than 200 dirhams.
