Morocco opts for rural tourism

Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, announced the launch of new air routes to serve isolated areas of the kingdom. Objective, to develop rural tourism.

Speaking on Tuesday, during the oral questions session in the House of Advisors, the minister highlighted the importance of tourist guides in the development of rural tourism, specifying that 459 tourist guides were deployed in these areas during the year 2023, which represents an increase of 52% compared to the previous year.
