Morocco: old taxis impounded

In Morocco, the taxi sector is booming. The decision of the Ministry of the Interior to scrap vehicles that are too old has provoked an outcry from certain professionals.

The latter refuse to apply the new regulations, pointing out the difficulties encountered with taxi authorization holders, but also the lack of financial support to renew their vehicles. Support which had nevertheless been promised, before being suspended on December 31.
