Morocco: new weather alert

Thunderstorms and snowfall are forecast in Morocco on Sunday and Monday, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). An orange alert bulletin has been issued for several provinces in the country.

Heavy rains, with accumulations of 40 to 60 mm, are expected on Sunday and Monday in the provinces of Tangier-Assilah, Larache, Mdiq-Fnideq, Tetouan, Ouezzane, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchaouen, Taounate, Sidi Kacem and Kénitra.
