High-intensity stormy showers are expected this Monday, October 14 in several regions of Morocco, according to a press release from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). These bad weather will be accompanied by hail and gusts of wind, which can reach speeds of 85 km/h in certain areas.
The “orange” vigilance weather bulletin specifies that rain ranging from 30 to 60 mm is forecast between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the provinces of Midelt, Tinghir and Errachidia. This phenomenon could also affect other regions of the Kingdom, notably the provinces of Taounate, Taza, Tetouan, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, Khenifra, Boulemane, Sefrou, Azilal, Moulay Yacoub, Al Haouz, Al Hoceima, Ouarzazate, Chefchaouen, Fez and Figuig, where stormy showers will appear between 12:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
