Morocco: new rules for electric scooters

New texts aimed at regulating the use of electric scooters and pedal-assisted bicycles in Morocco are in the process of being adopted, indicated Mohamed Abdeljalil, the Minister of Transport and Logistics.

“Two draft decrees amending and supplementing decrees No. 2.10.421 relating to vehicles and No. 2.10.420 relating to road traffic rules have been developed and are in the process of being approved, in interaction with the emergence of new means of transport on public roads,” announced Mohamed Abdeljalil, during a recent meeting at the House of Representatives.
