Morocco: new railway line planned
The National Railways Office (ONCF) has just launched a call for tenders for preliminary studies of the future railway line linking Casablanca to Béni Mellal, passing through Oued Zem and Khouribga.
According to the call for tenders, these studies will cover several projects: doubling and rectification of the route between Khouribga and Oued Zem, as well as the construction of engineering structures to replace the level crossings between Sidi el Aidi and Oued Zem, Challenge reports. The total cost of these studies is estimated at 38 million dirhams. The tenders will be opened in Rabat on September 19.
