Morocco launches into the race for military drones

The Moroccan company Aerodrive Engineering Services (AES), manufacturer of the first 100% Moroccan military drone, has obtained major funding to accelerate its production.

On the sidelines of the second edition of the National Industry Day, Aerodrive Engineering Services (AES) signed, Thursday October 17 in Benguérir, a financing agreement with the Ministry of Industry and the CGEM, to
the production of 1,000 unmanned aerial systems per year, after securing funding under the Innovation Support Fund (ISF). Funding which will allow the Moroccan company to boost the development of Moroccan drones, but also to accelerate its R&D work, to set up a production line and to enter the national market “as soon as possible”, before exiting at internationally, specifically on the African continent, in a later stage, indicates Challenge.
