Morocco, king of Chinese tea

THE Morocco has become the world’s largest importer of Chinese teawith purchases reaching $123.5 million between January and July 2024. This was revealed by the Chinese Customs Administration, which specified that China exported its tea to 123 countries during this period.

Ghana, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Japan are also among the main customers of Chinese tea, while Russia saw its imports increase by 17% compared to the previous year.
