Morocco: Justice cancels a report drawn up via WhatsApp
The Court of First Instance of Ouarzazate acquitted a driver accused of speeding, deeming irregular the report of the report of the offense, established via WhatsApp.
The driver was arrested on November 3 by the elements of the royal gendarmerie of Ouarzazate who reproached him for having exceeded the authorized speed of 16 km/h. The driver refused to sign the report drawn up, on the grounds that the agent who noted the offense was not the one who had written the minutes, which, according to him, is contrary to the highway code.
