Morocco in the world top of the best destinations

Morocco climbs into the world ranking of the 10 best travel destinations for 2025.

Morocco occupies sixth place in the top 10 best destinations to go to in 2025, established by Le Routard. Not surprising, because the kingdom welcomes many tourists every year. In 2024, Morocco surpassed Egypt and became the most visited country in Africa in 2024 after reaching a new tourism record. “The Morocco destination hits hard in 2024. With 17.4 million tourists at the end of December, Morocco achieves in advance the ambitious objective of its roadmap, initially planned for 2026,” indicated the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy in a press release. Compared to 2023, this is an increase of 20% compared to 2023, or almost 3 million additional tourists. With this new record, Morocco surpasses Egypt which did not cross the 15.7 million mark in 2024 and becomes the most visited country in Africa last year.
