Morocco: Imam suspended for failure to respect official sermon

The Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs has decided to suspend an imam for deviating from the official sermon at the Grand Mosque of Kasr Sghir, where he also teaches Sharia sciences.

The move follows accusations that he failed to adhere to the unified sermon issued by the ministry and addressed events in Gaza in his sermon last Friday.
