Morocco highways: How to get out of the financial chasm?

The Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, said that his department is activated to set up innovative mechanisms in order to improve the management of the National Society of Motorways of Morocco (ADM) which crumbles under debts.

Intervening at a meeting of the infrastructure committee in the House of Representatives, Baraka said that the return on investment in the infrastructure sector is long -term. The Minister said that ADM has already benefited from 55 billion investment dirhams for the realization of infrastructure, 80 % of which come from international institutions and 20 % of the capital of the company.
