Morocco: here is the price of olive oil this year

The Moroccan olive sector is going through a very difficult time. According to the Minister of Agriculture, Ahmed El Bouari, olive production for this year is expected to reach only 950,000 tonnes, a drop of 11% compared to the previous year and 40% compared to a year considered. as normal.

This drastic fall is explained by the succession of years of drought which hit the country, considerably affecting the olive trees. The consequences of this drop in production are already being felt on the wallets of Moroccans.
