Morocco: Here are the cities where prices have increased (and decreased)
According to data from the High Commission for Planning (HCP), the consumer price index (CPI) recorded an increase of 1% in the first half of 2024, a variation of 0.4% from one month to the next, and 1.8% in June compared to the same period in 2023.
During the month of June, the CPI increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month. This variation is explained by the increase of 0.5% in the food index and 0.3% in the non-food index. As for the core inflation indicator, excluding volatile price products and products with public tariffs, it increased by 0.3% from one month to the next and by 2.4% over a year.
