Morocco: heat wave in the middle of December
As winter sets in and rain and snow are expected, Morocco is experiencing an unusual heatwave.
This phenomenon, which particularly affects the center and south of the country, is due to a persistent anticyclone in the Azores, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). This causes the convergence of hot air masses towards the kingdom, leading to temperatures well above seasonal norms.
