Morocco: gendarmes in court for drug trafficking

The Casablanca Court of First Instance started on Tuesday started examining the drug trafficking case involving 37 gendarmes from Béni Mellal and other neighboring regions.

The Chamber in charge of the financial crimes of the court heard some accused on Tuesday. The hearing will continue on Tuesday February 11th. The court rejected the defense request concerning the expertise on telephone calls, recalling that the transcription of these conversations is part of the documents in the file.
