Morocco: fuel prices go upwards

In Morocco, motorists face an increase in fuel prices at the beginning of February.

A bad surprise awaits Moroccan motorists at the pump. Since Saturday, the price of the liter of diesel has undergone an increase of 20 cents to reach 11.67 dirhams, while that of gasoline increased by 16 cents per liter, reaching 13.53 dirhams, according to the National Federation of Owners , traders and managers of service stations in Morocco (FNPCGS), reports LE360. These increases will be greater in the service stations of certain cities of the kingdom due to the cost of transport and distance.
