Morocco: food poisoning sends around twenty students to hospital

An investigation is underway in Berrechid following the hospitalization of 19 students from a school in Had Soualem. The latter showed symptoms of food poisoning on Saturday evening, after eating chips bought in a store near their school.

Treated at the Berrechid regional hospital, 17 students were placed under observation in individual rooms, while two of them, more seriously affected, are under reinforced medical surveillance. Their state of health is considered stable, but their return home is conditional on complete improvement, say sources cited by Hespress.
