Morocco: Fatal crossing for Algerian twins
The bodies of Ayoub and Choaib Sahraoui, two Algerian twins who went missing at sea while trying to swim to Ceuta, have been found in Morocco.
The victims’ family is in shock after hearing the sad news. “They were born together and died together,” one of the twins’ brothers told The Ceuta Lighthouse. The twins tied themselves together to make the crossing with a friend, Sohaib, who is still missing. “That’s life. They were born on the same day, connected by an umbilical cord. They died on the same day, connected by a single thread,” their brother laments.
