The Tinghir Court of First Instance sentenced a forty-year-old to two years in prison accused of practicing ruqya on women whom he photographed in compromising positions in order to defraud them.
Prosecuted for fraud, threat of disclosure of compromising facts, sexual harassment, defamation and illegal exercise of an activity, the accused was sentenced Friday to two years in prison and to pay compensation of 4,000 dirhams to the complainant. The court decided to acquit him of charges of inciting prostitution, disseminating intimate images of a person without their consent and sexual harassment.
