Morocco: Fake parking attendants in prison

The public prosecutor at the Fez court of first instance has decided to prosecute 11 parking attendants, commonly known as “yellow vests”, for fraud, threats and falsification of documents.

The accused face prison sentences of one year for some and suspended sentences for others, as well as financial fines. These “yellow vests” were prosecuted under arrest after a complaint was filed against them by a citizen who refused to pay them an amount of 5 dirhams, considering it illegal.
