Morocco: Evening at a former MP’s house turns into a nightmare



A former MP, former president of the urban commune of Béni Mellal, and also leader of the Popular Movement party (MP, opposition) and two young women are being detained in connection with the death of a young girl in the villa of the former elected official.


Things are getting complicated for Abdelaziz Chraibi and two young women, involved in the death of a young woman whose remains were found in the house of the leader of the MP, in Beni Mellal. On Wednesday, the public prosecutor of the king at the court of first instance of the city ordered their detention. They were imprisoned in the local prison of Beni Mellal, reports AssabahThe three accused face serious charges: “human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, failure to assist a person in danger, possession of drugs and facilitating their use by others, debauchery and homosexuality”. After their hearing, the prosecution transferred the case to the Court of Appeal. The latter in turn entrusted it to the investigating judge for investigation.
