Morocco ends escape of major drug lord

British authorities have thanked Moroccan police for the arrest at Marrakech airport and extradition of the country’s most wanted fugitive.

Fruitful collaboration between Moroccan authorities and their British counterparts. On Wednesday, Morocco handed over Alex Male, a 32-year-old man who was the subject of an Interpol red notice, to the British security services. The latter had been actively looking for him for more than four years for his alleged criminal activities related to drug trafficking and money laundering.
