Morocco: El Jadida prepares for tsunami
The city of El Jadida will receive in the coming days two sirens offered by UNESCO as part of the international tsunami risk prevention program.
“The two devices arrived a few days ago at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, and are awaiting the finalization of customs administrative procedures to be shipped to the city of El Jadida, where they will be installed at two predetermined locations” in Doukkala, sources told Hespressspecifying that this equipment is a “gift from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)”.
