Morocco: donkey tongues to make men docile

The police arrested an individual in Sidi Bennour who posed as a sorcerer. The defendant offered his clients donkey tongues supposed to make their men obedient.

Many women in the region were lining up to acquire donkey’s tongue from this alleged sorcerer who made them believe that the use of this “charm” made men obedient to their wives or lovers. The suspect sold donkey tongue at 500 dirhams each, local sources indicated.
