Morocco: “Djin” scammers heavily sentenced
The Tinghir Court of First Instance sentenced four people prosecuted for fraud and swindling in the so-called “Djinn Hammou” case to 8 years and 8 months in prison on Thursday.
The court sentenced the main accused to three and a half years in prison, her husband and brother to two and a half years in prison each, and their accomplice to eight months in prison. The convicts can appeal this decision.
