Morocco: Crackdown on scooters in several cities

While waiting for new regulations for electric scooters to come into force, Moroccan authorities are stepping up controls on the roads to limit accidents and deaths.

In Marrakech, Casablanca or Tangier, local authorities are waging a fierce fight against scooters that cause many traffic accidents. Control operations are underway in these cities to put an end to the anarchy of two-wheelers in general and electric scooters and scooters in particular, while waiting for the adoption of new regulations.
