Morocco could buy Caracal helicopters

Airbus Helicopters could sign next Tuesday, on the sidelines of Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to Morocco (October 28-30), a contract for the sale of 18 Caracal helicopters for the benefit of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).

The signing of this contract should take place during the France-Morocco entrepreneurial conference which will be held on Tuesday in Rabat, as part of the French president’s two-day state visit to Morocco. In addition to the order for 18 Caracal tactical transport helicopters (12 for the Air Force and 6 for the Royal Gendarmerie), Morocco could also sign a contract with Airbus Commercial Aircraft for the sale of A220 and A320 to profit from Royal Air Maroc (RAM), reports The Tribune.
