Morocco: cold snap and snowfall
The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued an “orange” level alert bulletin announcing the arrival of a cold spell and snowfall significant in several Moroccan regions.
Minimum temperatures will plunge between –5 and 3 degrees Celsius, particularly in the provinces of Boulemane, Ifrane, Béni Mellal and Azilal. This intense cold will extend until Tuesday, also affecting Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Midelt and Taroudant.
