Morocco: calls for Jihad in mosques banned

Ahmed Toufiq, Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs, reminded Moroccan imams of the limits of their role regarding the Palestinian question.

During a meeting in the House of Representatives with the Committee on Foreign Affairs, National Defense and Islamic Affairs, the minister was questioned by deputies, including Nabila Mounib of the United Socialist Party (PSU), on the freedom of imams to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
