Morocco: Belgian septuagenarian found dead in Sefrou

A septuagenarian of Belgian nationality was found dead in his home in the Sidi Ahmed Tadili district of Sefrou. The extreme heatwave that hit the city in recent weeks is believed to be the cause of his death.

The circumstances and causes of the victim’s death remain unknown for the moment. His body shows no signs of aggression or injuries, which suggests that he died from a chronic illness or due to the heat wave that has hit Sefrou in recent weeks. His remains were transferred to the morgue of Ghassani Hospital in Fez for an autopsy, reports Assabah.
