Morocco: Baby left abandoned in the middle of the forest

A baby abandoned in the forest of Ain Chkef, in the province of Moulay Yacoub, was found by passers-by who alerted the competent services, which allowed the newborn to be saved in extremis.

The baby was abandoned by his mother in an isolated area of ​​the forest. His cries attracted the attention of passers-by who alerted the relevant authorities. A patrol of the auxiliary forces that ensured security in the area quickly rushed to the scene. The local authorities and the Ain Chkef Gendarmerie mobilized to ensure the transport of the baby in an ambulance to the hospital.
