Morocco attracts a battery giant

Chinese battery giant Gotion High-Tech will invest up to 1.3 billion euros in Morocco to build a lithium battery factory.

Officially announced today, this “gigafactory”, the first of its kind in Morocco for electric vehicles, represents an initial investment of 1.3 billion dollars (12.8 billion dirhams).
