Morocco and Embraer, a partnership for commercial aviation and defense

The Moroccan government signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday with the Brazilian company Embraer with a view to carrying out projects in the fields of commercial aviation, defense and urban air mobility.

Signed on the sidelines of the Marrakech Aviation Show, the agreement aims to stimulate innovation, economic growth and contribute to job creation, and promote the development of local skills. The two parties agreed to strengthen their cooperation in terms of training, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), but also in terms of research and technologies, particularly in the sectors of industrial decarbonization, clean mobility, sustainable aviation and sustainable aviation fuels, a statement said.
