Morocco: an error at the morgue leads to an exhumation

Incredible situation at Addaraq hospital in Berkane. The establishment’s morgue mixed up the remains of two deceased people. A situation which led to the exhumation of one of the bodies.

According to Assaba“Hospital officials put the members of two families in an unbearable psychological state. A confusion which, according to them, is explained by the negligence of the services of this hospital and the chaos which reigns there. The remains are those of two people from Ahfir and Zegzel, in the province of Berkane, who died after being admitted to hospital. They were left at the morgue while the families completed the administrative formalities.
