Morocco: after a strong rebound, the economy should slow down at the end of the year
The Moroccan economy, after a strong third quarter of 2024, should experience a slight slowdown in its growth over the coming months. This is what the High Commission for Planning (HCP) indicates in its latest report.
If GDP showed an increase of 4.3% in the third quarter, it should only grow by 3% in the fourth quarter of 2024 and by 3.5% in the first quarter of 2025. This moderation in growth can be explained in particular by a slowdown in overall demand and a return to normal for industrial activities, after an exceptional third quarter.
