Morocco: a woman carried on a coffin, indignation mounts

A video showing a sick woman being carried on a coffin as a stretcher has sparked outrage in Morocco. The events took place in the commune of Aït Tamlil, in the province of Azilal.

The Federation of the Women’s Rights League of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region reacted strongly by publishing a press release denouncing this “shocking incident”.
