Morocco: A Tiktok star in prison for shocking videos

A Moroccan tiktofer was placed in pre -trial detention at Taza prison following the publication of videos deemed indecent on his Tiktok account. Jorf El Melha’s prosecution reproaches him for several counts, notably public outrage in modesty, exhibitionism and incentive to debauchery.

The influencer is also accused of having disseminated false information in order to harm the privacy and the reputation of others. His controversial publications caused an uproar on social networks, leading to the launch of a petition demanding the intervention of the authorities.
