Morocco: a recent road washed away by water, whose fault is it?

The recent torrential rains that hit the Drâa-Tafilalet region have not only caused considerable material damage, but have also highlighted serious failures in the construction of certain road infrastructures.

The most striking example is that of regional road No. 706 linking Rich to Imilchil in the province of Midelt. Rebuilt less than three years ago for several tens of millions of dirhams, this road was literally pulverized by bad weather, arousing the indignation of residents and Internet users.
