Morocco: a new road in the Sahara monitored by army drones

Morocco is in the process of finalizing a major road project linking Smara to Mauritania. This new communication route, 53 kilometers long, will consolidate economic and social ties between the kingdom and sub-Saharan countries.

While work on laying the final layer of asphalt has begun, the completion of this strategic road appears imminent, say sources cited by Rue20. It aims to stimulate the development of the regions of South Morocco.
