Morocco: a judge, denounced by his wife, in prison

A judge and two lawyers were placed in detention at Tamesna prison, near Témara, by decision of the investigating judge of the financial crimes court in Rabat. This measure follows the discovery of alleged trafficking in judgments, revealed by compromising audio recordings.

The affair came to light when the wife of the magistrate in question revealed damning evidence. These audio documents attest to illegal transactions: court decisions were allegedly exchanged for sums of money within the Tetouan court.
