Morocco: a fake sorcerer took intimate photos to blackmail his victims

The judicial police in the city of Tinghir recently arrested a man aged around 40, a suspected sorcerer accused of practicing roqya to defraud women in search of solutions to their problems.

According to judicial police investigators, the suspect made women believe that he was able to find a solution to their problems. Once the latter agreed to participate in his ruqya sessions, the fake sorcerer photographed them in compromising positions and threatened to publish the photos on social networks if the victims did not pay him a large sum of money.
