Morocco: 1,200 km of additional highways by 2030
The national highway company of Morocco (ADM) maintains its ambitions in 2025, despite the many challenges (growth, debt and modernization) that it faces. The institution will continue the important infrastructure projects underway, with a view to the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup.
With an accumulated debt of 40 billion dirhams, ADM does not have the means to invest in new projects. This is what a report from the parliamentary mission reveals. However, the company will have to build an additional 1,200 kilometers of highways to reach a total network of 3,000 kilometers, in anticipation of the 2030 World Cup that Morocco is organizing alongside Spain and Portugal.
