Moroccans, remember to declare all your income before the end of the year!

The General Tax Directorate is launching an appeal to taxpayers (individuals) who do not declare all their income, inviting them to regularize their tax situation as soon as possible.

Several hundred individuals whose income and expenses present discrepancies received notifications from the tax administration in September. “The launch of this first salvo of tax control of individuals by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) must have shaken more than one person. This involves examining the entire tax situation of individuals presenting inconsistencies between income and expenses, in accordance with article 216 of the General Tax Code,” writes The Economist which announces a second wave by the end of the year.
