Moroccans celebrate the end of fishing agreements with Europe

On Facebook, many Moroccan Internet users and specialists in Moroccan-European relations show their satisfaction after the decision of the Court of Justice annulling the fishing agreements between the European Union (EU) and Morocco.

“The biggest beneficiary currently is the Moroccan people… who will eat their fresh vegetables and delicious fish at reasonable prices… We expect this decision to lead to a drop in the prices of precisely these products,” comments a user on Facebook. “Does the European Union still have a role to play in the world? We are on our land and in our seas, the riches of the sea and the land are ours and we are the first beneficiaries, the Sahara is in its Morocco and Morocco in its Sahara, whether we like it or not, until “that God inherits the earth and everything it contains,” writes a second Internet user on the same social network.
