Moroccans arrested for “espionage” in Algeria
Algerian police announced the arrest of two Moroccan artisans and an Algerian student, accused of “carrying out hostile activities against Algeria” on behalf of a foreign country. The arrests took place in the wilayas of Oran and Sidi Bel Abbès.
The two Moroccans both worked as plasterers in Algeria. They are accused of treason, collusion with a foreign country, undermining national unity and state security.
