Moroccan workers rebel against Chinese company in Nador

An association in Nador strongly condemns the behavior of a manager of the Chinese company operating the city’s iron mines, who filed a complaint with the Royal Gendarmerie against a worker who allegedly attacked Chinese people.

This accusation is false, declared the Association, which reserves the right to take the matter to court. It recalls having denounced the meager bonuses that the Chinese company pays to Moroccan workers, namely 45 dirhams per ton, during a session with MP Farida Khiniti of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) and a union delegation from the Moroccan Workers’ Union.
