Moroccan teahouse in Netherlands forced to close after multiple attacks
The Moroccan tea room De Theepot, located in the city of Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands, will be closed until next February, after the series of attacks suffered this year, the city’s municipality announced.
Mayor Margo Mulder made the decision to close the establishment in mid-October after it was the target of an explosion in mid-October, which damaged the front door. This is not the first time that the tea room has been the victim of attacks. In August, it was also targeted by an explosion. A few years earlier, the establishment had been the target of a fatal shooting, forcing it to close twice.
