Students at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane have launched a petition to demand a ban on the return of students who recently traveled to Tel Aviv with a delegation of pro-Israelis to take part in an activity.

The authors of the petition on the change.org platform condemned the students’ move to Israel, in the midst of the conflict in Gaza, considering it to be the expression of a “position in flagrant contradiction with the ethics and values ​​advocated by Al Akhawayn University.” “These students must be held responsible for the deterioration of the reputation of the university and all its students, and even all Moroccans,” they said in the petition, adding that “it is time to make our voices heard and demand accountability.”
